Kids' Birthday Art Workshops in Delhi NCR: 3 Real Parties
The best art activity for a kids' birthday party in Delhi NCR depends on age. Clay fridge magnets suit ages 4 to 7, while Clay Mirror Art and DIY spinner and photo frame kits suit ages 10 to 11. All run at ₹600–₹800 per person, materials included.
Between 17 and 24 October 2026, Kraftykinni ran all three for 54 children: two parties in Delhi and one in Noida, each lasting 2 hours. This post records what we ran, what the children made and how the format changed with age, group size and venue. If you are planning a birthday for adults, see our guide to art workshop ideas for a birthday party in Delhi NCR.
Which Art Activity Suits Which Age for a Kids' Birthday Party?
These are the age groups we worked with this month. For other ages, message us and we will suggest a format.
- Ages 4 to 7: Clay Fridge Magnet. A small piece, painted and decorated by each child on their own sheet.
- Ages 10 to 11, build and paint: DIY kits with a colour-mixing spinner and a photo frame. Structured, with a chart to follow.
- Ages 10 to 11, sculpt: Clay Mirror Art, where children shape clay letters and flowers around a mirror.
The Three Parties at a Glance
Here are the three October 2026 parties side by side:
- 17 October, Delhi (at home): DIY spinner and photo frame kits. A boy's birthday, 20 children aged 10 to 11, 2 hours.
- 18 October, Delhi (Diggin café, Connaught Place): Clay Mirror Art. A girl's birthday, 10 children aged 10 to 11, 2 hours.
- 24 October, Noida (at home): Clay Fridge Magnet. 24 children aged 4 to 7, 2 hours.
Delhi, 17 October: DIY Spinner and Photo Frame Kits at a Football-Themed Home Party
The first party was a boy's birthday at home in Delhi, with 20 guests aged 10 to 11 and a blue-and-white football theme. Instead of one shared project, every child got a personal kit, packed and labelled with the birthday child's name before the guests sat down.

How the Kit Worked for 10 to 11 Year Olds
Each kit held wooden pieces to paint and assemble, tempera colours with a brush and a colour-mixing chart. Children painted a colour-wheel spinner and decorated a photo frame, using the chart to mix their own shades instead of only using colours straight from the pot. At this age, a small rule to follow gives children something to work out as well as something to paint.
Floor seating on a mat worked well for 20 children. They sat in a loose circle and compared results as they went. Each child took home the finished spinner and frame, so the kit doubled as the return gift.

Delhi, 18 October: Clay Mirror Art at Diggin Café, Connaught Place
The second party was a girl's birthday at the Diggin café in Connaught Place, central Delhi, for 10 guests aged 10 to 11. The tables were set in the café's seating area before the guests arrived, with a mirror, packs of air-dry clay in assorted colours, glue and a dreamcatcher kit at each place. The dreamcatcher kit is part of Kraftykinni's standard setup for this workshop.

What the Children Made: Clay Mirror Art
Clay Mirror Art is a sculpting workshop. Children shape air-dry clay into letters, flowers and small motifs, then press them around the edge of a mirror. At this party the pieces included clay lettering, sunflowers and other flowers, and small fruit and animal shapes.
The finished mirror is usable, not only decorative, so it works as the return gift. The party ran for 2 hours, and the workshop page lists 2 to 2.5 hours.
If you are planning a party at a café, check with the venue in advance that an outside activity is allowed, and ask for a long table or a clear block of seating. Kraftykinni handles setup, facilitation and cleanup.

Noida, 24 October: Clay Fridge Magnets at a Home Party for 24 Children Aged 4 to 7
The third party was at a home in Noida, for 24 guests aged 4 to 7, with a pink-and-gold balloon backdrop. Each child worked on their own coloured sheet laid on the floor, which marks out a personal space and protects the surface underneath.
Children painted and decorated round fridge magnets with brushes and clay details. A magnet is small, so younger children can finish it in one sitting, and it ends up somewhere they see every day. Related workshop pages: MDF Fridge Magnet and Clay Art.

Keeping 24 Children Aged 4 to 7 Focused
For the youngest and largest group we kept the setup simple: one sheet and one set of materials per child, everything within reach, and the birthday decorations as the backdrop. The session ran for 2 hours, and each child took their magnet home at the end of the party.

Materials We Used and How Children Used Them
The clay parties used Fevicryl Mouldit and Super Clay, two air-dry modelling clays that are generally safe to use. Painting used acrylic paints, and the DIY kits also included tempera colours.
Children used all materials under the facilitator's guidance throughout. If a child has allergies or skin sensitivities, tell us when you book so we can plan around it.
What a Parent Said
One parent left a five-star Google review after a recent party: “Kinni managed each and every kid nicely… Thank you so much for all the efforts.” (Shaily Chaudhary, Google review)
Home, Café or Hall: What You Need to Provide
At home, floor seating on a mat worked for both the 20-child and the 24-child party. A café or hired hall needs tables and chairs with surface space for each child and, as above, the venue's agreement. Kraftykinni brings the materials in every case and handles setup, facilitation and cleanup.
